I know, I know. But it's practically two states over because it's so far
South in NM. Northern NM is pretty accessible for me but the Southern
stuff take a little more effort to get to.
Can't they move it closer?

You guys are pathetic pussys, and Miles is the latest champion *****. I
can't believe how lame and wimpy you are, why are you going slow over
small rock sections and trail that doesn't even have rocks?

I rampage right over this **** and this trail is beginner level, what
is wrong with you.

I advise you Todd Miles to fill out your Gay Penguin Squadron
application immediately, I know Ride-A-Lot will approve it
instantaneously.

ON an ending note, I saw a guy 63 years old on Apex, rampaging it, and
you guys are so pathetic compared to him. Then there was a guy on
Dakota Ridge, who was at least 60 years old, again, no slowness, no
fear, bah ha'd the trail like it was nothing, so for your info, Gay
Squadron Penguin applicant, you guys are wimpy little mushy men, an
insult to masculinity and aggressiveness, which is a male trademark and
should be celebrated.

I've seen women 53 years old ride far more aggressively than you, so
you little pink booted fairy, stop trying to impress me with your
feminism, and only post videos which are impressive attack of the
trail, you no skill having falling of a mountain putz.

I wish I could have. Talking to Bill, it seemed like a sweet weekend
of riding. Sunday's ride, though, was the only one I hadn't done
before, so that's the one I really wanted to hit.

Palm Canyon's a good ride, though. I've been browbeating Bill to do a
Sawmill/Palm mega-epic. Maybe in the spring, after the snow melts at
the top but before Palm Springs gets too hot...

Start looking for pictures on Bill's site and Pete's too.
Bill is talking about a PC ride in February and I'll thinking of leading the
B or C group (after this weekend, C is probably a good place for me......)
Now to figure out a way to eliminate the fire road section of Sawmill......
and come to think of it.....all those damn switchbacks that I walked!

Cop out!

Gallup is in Northern New Mexico, physically and cuturally.

In decimal degrees ... 35.528N. Consider that the state runs from ~37N
to 31.33N . On the other hand, I'm down around 34.058N just ~.5 south
of central.

Fast.

MTBBILL said "This was one of the best weekends I have had in a long time.
Good riding,
good folks, and good beer from all over. It was great to see some old
friends and make some new ones."

The two trails we did Friday were ptp downhill tst and you've seen me and my
technical dh abilities so I was way behind being the cautious rider that I
am (and going at the peak of my abilities). I took very few photos since
most of the shots would have been a$$ shots!!! I look forward to helmet cam
from Spoke Junkie, Bomber on Friday's ride. Nobody shot video on Saturday
and several took stills on Sunday (while I posted a new land speed record
getting from PS to Phoenix)

On Saturday's epic I had to walk a lot of tech sections (fear of injury out
in bfe) so I was near the back of the group usually leading JD (sweeper) for
the first half of the ride. Fortunately about 20 miles into the ride
there's a climb after a 3 mile sand fest so I was able to take the lead for
about 15 minutes. The climb ended and the fun began on the Hahn Buena Vista
Trail which is mostly a more than gradual dh bench cut that just follows the
mountain side down. Best part of the ride.

But yeah, they had to wait for me.....a lot, so C group to be safe, B group
to be on edge, A group to get hurt!. Thankfully for me there were mucho
flats (everybody had at least one and a couple had multiples) and one broken
chain. Last year the four of us that did this ride had zero flats, go
figure.

Well ya never know. Maybe I'll show up. The event and terrain look
really cool. I think 12 hours might be a better timespan (vs. 24) to
ride too. Those 3:00 am laps really suck.

I ride up quite effectively and my bald head is used for morse code to
the martians on the moon. Don't make fun of my inch of flubber, I'll

The autor is in the business of selling books dill hole! Why don't you

Get out and ride somewhere other than your "black diamond" sidewalks.
There are lots of "mean" trails out there.
