It's that time again ..... here in Stratford-upon-Avon we are running the
MacRide on Sunday 10 September - a 25 or 50 mile ride around quiet lanes in
South Warwickshire.
The 25 is suitable for everyone - the 50 is a little more challenging (but
both routes have some short-cut options) Riders will all have a detailed,
easy to follow route sheet (bit like an Audax) and there will be signage all
round the routes.
It's all in aid of Macmillan Cancer Support ... and unlike many charity
events over 95% of all of the money raised (that's entry fees and
sponsorship/donations) goes to the charity.
Last year, the first MacRide raised over £10,000 for Macmillan - help us to
increase that this year, AND have a great day out
Do put the date in your diary and get your entry in - Stratford is a great
area to cycle, there's loads of parking at the start and excellent
refreshment stops on the route.
Bring the family - if they don't cycle there's loads to do and see in the
town.
