To prove it isn't that big of a deal to beat cancer. Chuck Norris
smoked 15 cartons of cigarettes a day for 2 years and aquired 7
different kinds of cancer only to rid them from his body by flexing for
30 minutes. Beat that, Lance Armstrong.
That is one of the funniest websites I have ever seen!!
I can remember watching Delta Force as a youngster - it rocked!! I
thought Chucky was wasted in Walker, Texas Ranger.....
But I can tell you that NO-ONE, not even CHUCK NORRIS, can lanesplit
like Donga... *giggles*

That would never happen because we are hard-core dedicated athletes who
laugh in the face of adversity, never say die, and give 110% for god
(Gary Ablett), Queen (the band) and country (and western, we play both
types of music).Ok maybe there may have been a few weeks where there has only been one
rider, but I can't recall any total cancellations. I think we just add
on for the next week then it's easier to trace back to when our birthday is.
Did anyone turn up this week just gone?
But yeah, if a tree falls in a forest, does anyone hear it?
Of course you number it as if someone rode it.

Pffft. I lived in Qld for 3 years. You can't lie to me.
Every freaking new moon, we'd schedule a weekend at an astronomer's
place out west somewhere. Every freaking new moon, it would be
snowing (well, liquid snow, anyway).
I lived 20 metres from Shelly beach for 3 months. It wasn't
beautiful. You couldn't swim, for the box jellyfish, blue ringed
octupii, skin cancer, rips, etc would be all out to get you.
People who claim that Qld has good weather make me PUKE (flat puke
into a bag which I then freeze and shove down open car windows)!
Quoted message said:So even hard-core riders are allowed to sleep-in when its windy &
rainy... 😄
In the meantime, I have only been on two BRs out of 18 where it has
been remotely damp (25 degrees and 100% for one of them, ick damn
Sydney/Qld weather). I'm sure when this 15 year drought will be over,
it may be less pleasant, but until then, you guys in Sydney and Qld
are kidding yourselves about how good you have it. I remember one
particular 7 week period in Syd, where every single week day, the
weather was gorgeous, and then, without fail, both Sat and Sun would
be raining. Made getting the washing dry in the student household
without a dryer, a real [censored].

This is assuming communistic European mode dates 🙂

What's the word on that anyway? Are you coming to NSW or staying down
there?

Sigh. Second time the job was advertised, it got a whole bunch of

Stuck down here for the time being, but riding the citybikes for a

OK boys, settle down. Let's not start any pointless religious wars,

Besides, any rational person knows that vi is better.

Quoted message said:Resound said:It wouldn't surprise me to find that even Brisbane gets substantially
more rain than Melbourne. It's always amusing to hear Sydney
residents talk about how rainy Melbourne is when their annual
rainfall is substantially higher than ours. Colder, sure but not
wetter.Out of Melbourne, Sydney and Perth, Mel gets the least rain, and Perth gets
the most. OTOH Perth gets very little rain in Summer (this summer coldest
since 1959, ave max 27.x, most rain since 2000, 45 mm for Dec-Jan-Feb). Ten
years ago they were selling "I survived 186 days without rain" T-Shirts in
Perth. Even better, because of the local weather and wind patterns, Perth
gets something like 70% of its rain at night. So we can have 18 days of rain
in July whilst enjoying 25 days of sunshine in the same month. :-)
I was positive when living on the "sunshine" coast, Qld, that 80% of
rain fell at night. And during new moon weekends as well.
