I am riding my bike from Berlin to Koeln in July-August (after the world cup)
My itinerary is:
Berlin, Brandeburg AH, Magdeburg, Braunschweig, Hannover, Porta Westfalica, Bielefeld, Muenster, Dortmund, Koeln and back to Berlin on Deutsche Bahn.

Has anyone else had experience in any of these towns or Germany in general?
I am staying at mostly Hostels, hotels, pensions, ETAPs, no camping as such.

I am flying British Airways, Finnair and QANTAS - Any issues with these airlines?

Cheers

Hi Chris,

I've lived in quite a few of these towns over the years and am currently living in Bielefeld. What type of bike are you travelling on?

Hey, good luck. I love Germany. I'm off there with a friend next year, well, we're going from Normandy to Osnabruck, so mainly we're in France and Holland, but, oh how I love Germany...
