Judging by prices for that bike listed 'round the internet tubes, $1800 is a damned fine price. Whether it's worth it or not is a value judgement for you. In general you should buy a bike that fits well, rides well, fits your budget, and makes your grollies tingle with joy (as opposed to tingling from decreased blood flow....). It sounds like the bike hits at least one of those points for you. If it scores on the other three points, then there's no reason to not buy it.
