  1. I have some new "last year" hand built wheels that I love. The only problem is the rims came naked - no stickers. I ordered and received stickers from the rim manufacturer, and they are long (about 14-16"😉 and narrow.

I want to make sure I get them started straight so I get them on without any wrinkles. The stickers have paper backing and I'm sure the adhesive is very sticky. I plan to clean the rims well before installation.

Any suggestions from someone who may have accomplished this task completely?

    Thanks!

  2. Most high-quality vinyl bicycle decals are applied with soap and water. You should contact the manufacturer/distributor to find out about that. It allows the decal to be placed properly before drying.

Otherwise, if they are plain sticky decals, wash your hands, apply one corner first, press firmly and carefully from one end to another to prevent air bubbles.
