    RINJANI VOLCANO TREKKING in LOMBOK ISLAND - INDONESIA - ASIA

    Rinjani volcano of Lombok is one of the highest volcanoes in Indonesia
    and famous with its amazing colourful of sunrise & sunset scenery
    changes daily, Rinjani has a baby volcano in the middle of top Crater
    Lake, content great size of fresh water fishes to fish for your great
    nature experience barbeque. Do not pass this heritage a least once in
    your lifetime. It has open private new great idea on the way home for
    you and your family or related. Trek to the summit is arranged for
    real trekker (advanced) and trek to the lake is for all level of
    trekker. Once you do, you will come again with happier...

    Trek will start from Sembalun and end at Senaru. Detail as follows:

    LOMBOK VOLCANO TREKKING PACKAGE 5 days / 4 nights (Option 1)

    Day I: Arrival at Mataram ¹ Transfers to Hotel (D)
    Arrival at Selaparang Airport of Mataram, pick up by our
    representative staff, transferred to hotel. Free at Leisure. Welcome
    Dinner with our staff to make preparation and little briefing and try
    Lombok culinary food.

    Day II: Hotel - Transfer to Sembalun - Trek (B.L.D)
    At 06.00 am picked up from hotel and transfer to Sembalun. Registered
    at Rinjani Information Centre (RIC) in Sembalun Lawang (1.156m from
    sea level), get short briefing describes route detail, local cultural
    traditions and what you might see, and explains rubbish management
    also safety procedures. Start trek from Sembalun Lawang with the
    gentle ascent walking through open grassland used as cattle grazing by
    local people. Resting at pos 1 named Pemantauan (1.300 m), continue
    around 3 hours trek from Sembalun to pos 2 named Tengengean (1.500 m)
    here we can enjoy the beautiful views of Rinjani Volcano Summit
    (3.726 m). Proceed to pos 3 named Pade Balong (1.800 m) takes few
    hours, and then We start with the step of three, five climb amidst the
    pine like Casuarinas species locally known as Cemara, sometime see
    wild pigs and the long tail of gray monkeys called Macaca to the
    campsite at Pelawangan 2 at Sembalun Crater rim (2.639 m). Stand the
    tent, enjoy dinner and rest.

    Day III: Mt. Rinjani Trek To Summit (B.L.D)
    At 03.00 am starting is the best time for the hard 3 hours climb to
    summit (3.726 m on volcanic screen). Once be there, enjoy a proud
    feelings of satisfaction and the amazing sunrise views across the
    Wallace line to Bali, Mt. Agung, and Sumbawa Island. After breakfast
    down to Segara Anak Lake (2.000mh) within the Rinjani crater. Mt. Baru
    Jari as an islet in the middle of Segara Anak Lake and an active
    volcano last erupted dramatically in 1994. Step down the ridge passing
    numerous Edelweiss plantations called Bunga Abadi to the crater rim
    camp for a well-deserved breakfast. After breakfast, proceed to go
    down to the lake. It takes 2 ¹ 3 hours down the steep trail to Crater
    Lake. Take a wonderful time at lake by swimming or exploring the caves
    and pilgrimage hot springs, that has believed by locally as to have
    healing powers. Luncheon at the lakeshore, leave the lake and climb
    for two and half hours to Pelawangan 1 Senaru crater rim (2.461 m).
    Stand the tent for camp. Dinner and overnight there or if the weather
    not permit take an hour down to Cemara Lima for overnight.

    Day IV: Descend to Senaru Village - Transfer to Hotel (B.L.D)
    After breakfast, descend the long trail to Senaru Village (601 m)
    through thick tropical forests rich with flora, bird life and various
    kinds of butterflies. You might see the orchid and if you are lucky,
    the rare black Ebony leaves Monkeys, known as Lutung in Lombok.
    Resting is taken along the way, with village stories and local legends
    related by your guide. After seven hours walk down from the rim will
    arrive at Rinjani Trek Center in Senaru. The trek ending and transfer
    to your Hotel.

    Day V: Free at Leisure - Transfer to Airport (B)
    Breakfast at hotel, free at leisure at Hotel and transferred to
    Airport.

    End of Program
