I was thinking about picking up a new ride soon. I was looking in to the Litespeed Solano and the Raleigh Prestige. But I’m kinda hankering the idea of building up a custom bike. Does anyone here own or have ridden a Ritchey Logic Road frame? Or are there some others I’m overlooking? I would like to hear how the Ritchey or other comparable steel frames handle, corner, ride, accelerate, etc… Any recommendations and advice would be appreciated. Thanks!

How long a list do you want? A good frame is a good frame. Opinions on 'handling, cornering, ride and acceleration(lol) are subjective and lame . www.strongracing.com does some good 'custom' frames in steel for reasonable money.

You need to be a bit more forthcoming in your needs/wants/etc. Depending on what your price range is your list of steel frame makers can be rather daunting.

Check out Scapin, one of the few Italian producers that has remained very committed to steel frame production. Beautiful stuff...
