Ritchey WCS Alloy seatpost?

Absolutely, without a doubt the worst seatpost I have ever used.
One plus - it looks nice.
Negative. No matter how tight, when I would hit a bump the saddle would immediately go from being parallel to the ground to pointing upwards at a 30 degree angle. In other words, it tilts.

Interestingly enough, when I read cyclingnews.com updates I sometimes see that pros have this happen as well. When I find out who they are, they are pro teams sponsored by Ritchey. So evidently they have this problem too!

A seatpost has ONE purpose...to hold the saddle. If it can't do that well, then.....

I switched to a Thomson and have never looked back.

Did you have an older model? I remember reading somewhere that something was corrected at some point in time.
