I was wondering what road bike handlebar width you use. I have always wondered how most folks are determining there width. I know that you measure your shoulder width and use that but I was wondering if this is an old way. I seem to use a wider bar than what it should be. I measure a 42cm but I prefer a 44cm. we all use wider mountain bike bars why not wider road bars? Of course not as wide as mountain bars. Hope this makes sense.
