Road Bike Rookie here!!!!!

[COLOR= black]Hi My name is Fermin, I’m just getting into cycling, I bought a Road bike last week and I have to say is an awesome feeling. WAY back in the day (1980's) I used to race BMX competitive, I loved it then i grew out of it and now in 2013 I decided to get back on a bike. I hope to meet people here and learn more about Road bikes. Any suggestions and advise is always welcome. thank you!!![/COLOR]

2012 SCOTT S50 is a lovely looking bike.

Best advice I can give you is to gradually increase your mileage as you go. This sport - whether it is racing or touring - is not a sprint but a marathon.

Thank you, and thank you for the advise, Since i got the bike, I have slowly been increasing my millage, i know is not far but im up to 20 miles as of yesterday. Granted im 44 and a disable Veteran.
