Road bike (wheelset enquiry)

    Hi guys iam from india .i need your little suggestion.i have Btwin FC5 white(55) size Shimano 105 groupset 10speed .i want to replace my current wheelset Shimano RS10 is(damaged).

    according to my budget this two wheels are available in my country

    campagnolo Scirocco H35 mm & Fulcrum Racing 5 LG

    please suggest me which wheelset should i go for ???? i am little confused

    Problem with both of those wheels is that neither can be fixed quickly and cheaply if a spoke breaks. Replacement spokes have to come from the factory and they're not cheap.

    It seems on the internet though that most people prefer the Fulcrum Racing 5 over the Campy Scirocco 35, because they seemed to roll better probably because they were lighter; the Campy on the other hand is a deeper dish wheel which makes it stronger and thus stayed trued on rough surface streets.

    That's all I can tell you, I have no personal experience with either of them.

    RS10's and RS11's are inexpensive and available on the web. $117 for RS11's at Ribble and they offer cheap and/or free shipping to many countries. I don't know India's tariff/import duty schedule, but USA shipments under $800 are duty free.
