Hello all,
Currently commuting 20 miles/day. I'm breaking a spoke every month and to be honest, it's becoming a bit of a pain! My journey is 100% road with a few potholes here and there. Is this normal or 100% wear and tear?
Regardless, I want some new wheels that will hold up to this. Willing to spend up to £200.
These were my initial option;
Fulcrum Racing 5 Evolutions....£165.

FWIW. If you really want a robust wheelset, you should consider a 40h rear wheel which is otherwise intended for a Tandem ...
You'll probably have to have the hub respaced to 130mm (presuming THAT is your frame's spacing, that is).
A 36h rear wheel will be almost as good.
