Recently acquired a set of "older" rollers. They are a plastic drum, folding style roller. All three sets of rollers are adjustable forward and backward. What is the proper spacing between each set of drums for a standard 700c road bike? How far apart should the two rear drums be spaced? Once that is established, do I simply set the front roller so that the front axle sits directly on top of the center of the front drum? Or should the front axle sit slightly in front or behind the center of the front drum?

Appreciate any help that can be offered.
Rear drum spacing doesn't matter much. If anything, adjust it so that the bike is as close to horizontal as possible.
Front axle should ideally sit directly over the front roller, otherwise the bike will go backwards when you put any weight on the handlebars.
