After spending an hour or more in a chase group with him at Solano this is what I know. He is super
skinny, tan as hell, not smart, real strong, and probably a lame teammate (if you are thinking Chris
Walker, so was I). He spent the whole chase trying to ride away from the chase group and his two
teammates it contained. Every time I

couldn't believe that his teammates didn't stick him in a ditch. The funniest part was when going
into a 30 mph cross headwind he pull really hard to the wrong side. I follow (me retarded) and with
the help of another teammate takes us off the group of 15. This leaves me with him and his two
teammates trying to get back to the chase group (oh bike racing sucks). But then instead of the four
of us working to quickly get back on he attacks by himself leaving me with his two teammates. That
causes us to spend 5 minutes chasing him, while he chases the 10 or so guys in front of us, while
they ride away. Brilliant. I was in hell.

PS the reason I knew his name was because I couldn't believe someone could ride like such a douch,
so I checked the results that night to see who he was.

yes, Walker is skinny, strong, and chasing melanoma. But for 15 years I've been hearing guys say he
is not smart and he is a bad teammate. Mostly from guys he beats every week. I've raced with him and
against him, and he might not be the next incarnation of Einstein or anything, but he is a smart
bike racer. And you don't hear too many complaints from teammates sharing his prize splits either.
