    Just some photos of todays ride in Evergreen. I was actually in rare
    form. In other words, I was feeling really good.

    I parked down at the lakehoouse and then went around the golf course to
    Hidden Fawn Trail.

    Then up Evergreen Mountain the long way on Evergreen Trail East.

    Having not suffered enough (I told you I was feeling good), I did the
    summit loop.

    Then down Evergreen Mountain East.

    A short spin on Wild Iris to Meadow to Silver Fox trail.

    Turning onto Sisters trail for a little climb and finishing up with the
    fun downhill on Didese Trail.

    Looks fantastic up there! But at 8500', I don't know how my sea-level
    blood would fare. (Very badly I suspect!)

    It's only been a few days with no rain here in the Bay Area, but it was
    enough to go up the hill to Tilden Park and along the fire road that
    runs the crest of the hill. (The rest of the hillside turns into a
    sponge that changes the other trails into mudbogs.)

    The 20 mile loop is a little over 2000' of climbing, but almost all the
    dirt portion is downhill. Lots of people were out enjoying the
    weather.

    [censored]. I climb over 2000 feet in 2 miles on Mnt Falcon.

    Your full of [censored]. Put up a profile of this 2 mile, all up hill, ~19
    percent grade trail at Mount Falcon.

    Castle trail has the greatest gain at 2095 ft., but it is a 10 percent
    average grade over its ~4 miles.

    Parmalee has some ~18 percent pitches, but entire trail both up and
    down is only 2 miles.
