  1. Well, today i went on a ride, regardless of my splitting headache, and the fact i really didn't
feel like it. Starting out, my body complained like never before, and as soon as my blood
pressure elevated from activity, my headache went from splitting, to... whatever is worse than a
    splitting headache.

Then i come to a small, maybe quarter to half mile section of nice technical terrain. this is one
case where an ATV made useful terrain (it is growing back from lack of ATV use). the ruts hidden by
grass, the rocks, the dips, everything about it, just seemed, fun. i forgot about everything, and it
was me, the bike, the trail, and that damn rock that caused me to endo cause it was in a dip, all
covered in grass to look flat. we were all one. even after the endo, i was having so much fun, i
must have looked like a loony (not hard, from what i understand ;-), just some guy in the woods,
laying upside-down, in an almost lawn sale (ok, so i lost a shoe), laughing my ass off.

I had so much fun, i rode that section, hell, must have been, i don't know, i lost count after 30
times. but this ride is normally 3.5 miles, and i turned it into 46 miles. i never felt tired till i
got back to my car, and i never even cared about the mileage until the same.

But i learned something today. there is no exhaustion, no pain, no anger, nothing that would seem
normal. there is none of it when you are having pure fun.

But, on a side note, right now, i ache like hell, tired as hell (but too tired to sleep, go figure).
but it doesn't matter, i had the most fun today than i ever have since i was a kid. it all just
    pulled together.

Just thought i would leave you folks with one last RR before i get disconnected tomorrow. just to
let you know, i haven't yet lost faith in the sport, just in the middle of a re-birth.
