  1. Oh man it was nice out tonight - about 70 with a cool breeze
    from the West. I rode a Signal Peak ride with a buddy on the
    SS. Everything just flowed and the bike is feeling so fast.
    I don't know if it's me, the bike or not having 20 extra
    pounds of mud and actually being able to ride instead of
    being ridden by my bike, but it felt so right! I was just
    gliding up the baby head strewn climbs and floating down the
    descents. Great night of riding and then grilled steak tacos
    washed down by a fat Hornitos margarita on my return to
    celebrate Cinco de Mayo.

    Perfecto! Similar exp yesterday morning on the SS.
    Everything hit, in the groove and it was all happenin
    like a dream.

    Must have been something in the air. I did a 14 mile ride at
    a local State Park (Avalon) and it was without a doubt the
    best ride I'd had in months.

    Of course, I did it on gears so I obviously didn't
    experience the full monte (insert [censored] eating grin here).
