The SSWC is, of course, as much about the tribe as it is about the
ride. The after-party was one of the most positive vibes I've ever
felt. And the go-cart race was a hoot. (Marla's a ringer.) The free
beer was plentiful, and we all got a heroic buzz on.

We were unfortunately present for the second item on the blotter as
well as the first, a sad reminder of our auto-dominated society. Bikes
have yet to rule the world the way they did the trails on Sunday.
