FALL PERSPECTIVE LECTURE NOVEMBER 22ND AT THE NEW YORK ACADEMY OF SCIENCES

Dr. William G. Roll will deliver the Fall 2004 Perspectives Lecture, “Running
from Poltergeists: The Curious Story of Tina Resch,” on Monday, November
22nd, 2004 at 7:00 p.m., at the New York Academy of Sciences in New York City.

Dr. Roll, an Oxford-educated parapsychologist at the State University of West
Georgia, has written four books and more than 200 scientific articles, and has
also appeared on many TV documentaries over the years, among them Unsolved
Mysteries and Sitings. His latest book, Unleashed tells the story of an Ohio
family who battled a poltergeist whirlwind in the 1980s that up-ended their
belongings and caused the family to unravel.

As the Principle Investigator, Dr. Roll witnessed the phenomena and brought
then 14-year-old Tina Resch to North Carolina for testing. There she was the
first person to demonstrate poltergeist activity under hypnosis and in a
laboratory setting. This fascinating case and Tina Resch’s still-stormy life
are the focus of the talk. The New York Academy of Sciences is located at 2
East 63rd Street in New York City (just off Fifth Avenue).

There is a $10.00 donation at the door ($9.00 for Psychic Explorers Club
members.) Reservations are required. To reserve, call 212-628-1550, fax
212-628-1559, or email to: [email protected]. For directions to the New
