Hello fellow runners.
I am wondering if any of you have this experience and can
help me find a solution (if there is one):
When I run I get a drippy nose. Its worse in the winter when
the air is cold, or course, but does not go away when the
weather warms up. It happens so much that I carry a
handkerchief with me when I run and use it about every mile
because I don't feel comfortable just discharging my nose
contents while I run (ewwww). I have done this and it does
help but.... I would rather just fix the runny nose.
I have tried nose spray, varies types, before I run and that
helps somewhat but I don't want to take or spray anything
that might interfere with my running. Does anyone know
something that dries their nose without hurting performance?
I was thinking inserting cotton in my nose might be a
solution because I really don't take much air in through
my nose anyway when I run. I breathe almost totally
through my mouth.
Any ideas, anyone have similar experience?
Thanks
Jim
