Hi there

I recently bought an E5 sworks specialized as well as some ultegra components. This is my first bike that i'm building. :)When I screwed the brakes into the fork that went fine, but trying to secure it from the back with the bolt thingy, the bolt doesn't fit into the hole as its too wide. Has anyone ever experienced this? what is the best option?

- file down the screw or file open the hole a bit more.
- Attempt to contact specialized and obtain a new fork
- Find a slimmer bolt to place into the hole, if they exist.

Any help would be great:D

Cheers

Simon

I've had a similar problem installing calipers. It's the bolt diameter. Go to an LBS and see if they have a narrower one. The fork and rear carbon stays (on some bikes) usually are pretty snug.
