S2 - Trading Up Wheels

I've 50 years young, riding a fuji roubaix (first bike) for about 4 years and now trading up to a Cervelo S2. I'm looking for recommendations on mid-priced wheel sets between $300-600. Thanks.

How about a nice custom made set? Such a set would be just as good as any boutique set, if not better, and would have the rims, spokes, and hubs of your choice.

I too think handbuilt wheels would be the way to go. While they would likely be in the $600 range, I might suggest some DT350 hubs laced to Velocity A23 or H plus Son Archetype rims. These could make for a very nice general purpose wheel set without breaking the bank.
