Sausages With Fried Apples

  1. Sausage/Apples Main Dish

    1 lb. sausage of your choice. I use breakfast sausage of some kind
    1 large apple, diced
    1 large yellow onion sliced in irregular chunks
    Bit of coarsely ground black pepper

    Put sausage in hot skillet and let it start cooking. Add onion and apple.
    Sprinkle on a bit of the pepper, and cover tightly with a well-fitting lid
    Reduce heat to low and allow to cook for 20 minutes. Plate and enjoy!
