Schlumpf makes a Mt. Drive, Speed Drive and a High Speed Drive.
I’ve only seen the High Speed Drive listed with European dealers. The High Speed Drive has a 2.5: 1 overdrive.

Does anybody know if the High Speed Drive is available in the US yet?
If not when?

Unlike the speed drive which has a 1.65:1 overdrive and a selection of chainrings in the 20-60’s, I’ve seen the high speed drive listed as only available with Chainrings in 29T/27T (and I suspect the 29 may be a typo). If the chainring bolt patterns are the same as the other two Schlumpf models, its seems larger chainrings ought be compatible. The inference is that the bolt pattern might be different on the high speed drive vs. the speed and mountain drives, a reasonable design choice since this was developed for folders- a more compact chainring bolt pattern better suiting the folders.

Is that smaller chainring a long term limitation, or will there eventually be the larger Schlumpf chainrings available on the high speed drive?

Is the chainring bolt pattern different on the High Speed Drive from the sister BB models?
