Schwinn Air-Dyne Ergometer

I bought a used Schwinn Air-Dyne with the old style Ergometer. I
don't have any problem the timer, but I don't understand the readings
on the dial that looks like a speedometer. I contacted Schwinn and
they don't have any information on the Ergometer anymore.

The outer scale reads from 0.5 to 10. The inner, red scale goes from
28 to 75. It says, "Petal RPM" in red words, so I assume the red
scale is pedal RPM. The outer scale may be a load meter, but I don't
understand how to interpret it. Then there are two dials that look
like an odometer on an automobile. The bottom one is resettable. I
have no clue what these two dials indicate. Miles? RPM? Can someone
tell me how to read this thing? Also, does anyone know where a manual
might be located on the web? The one on the Schwinn website is for
the new digital meter.

Thanks. ****
