hello, I recently acquired a straight 8 frame which I got just to play
around with (older dual suspension mountain frame), it used to be very
expensive new, how come schwinn got out of this market? anyone know
much about the frame, my initial testing seems quite nice, thanks

what year is the frame. there was some nice stuff made for Schwinn by
Yeti in 97 and 98.schwinn was purchased by pacific bikes and now seems destined for the
dept. store market.it's a lawill rear end design. very active and still quite popular
with the DH set. of course...they've moved onto 10+ inches of travel
so.....i rode quite a few of them when i worked at a shop that carried
schwinn...then Schwinn was sold and the shop dropped them like a sack
of dirt.got pics of the bike?
