Many christian churches to not lock step with the central command as is done

Yep. Can you say "Xenu?"

"Tithing" is optional and directly proportional to income.
$cientology's fees are neither.

But then, Hubbard did set up $cientology specifically to make money. He
said so.

If psychiatry had blackmailed the IRS into tax-exempt status like
$cientology did, you might have a point.

Nonsense. They would say it's because the Gummint wants its "proven"
"tech." Truth is, the cult's doing it to themselves.

Nope, it's arrant nonsense involving nonexistent mental "engrams" which
have been shown not to exist, combined with dangerous quack
vitamin/sauna combinations.

Now, the original "Dianetics" was something like desensitization for
phobias and bad memories, and had some value--except that it was swathed
in hatred for _real_ psychology and psychiatry. Hubbard plagiarized
from the best, but never took _their_ best.

Oh. The Bavarian Illuminati are the _real_ bad guys. Got it.

Frederic,

the funny thing, I don't know if Mike knows that the CoS can trick
people 'cause the Church has the position that the Church cannot lie.
and he agrees with the Church.

as far as hiding true identities do you mean sock puppets?

straw man argument... they did not talk about every Scientologist.

also...christianity encompass so many denominations. with the Church
you have the organization founded by LRH and a smaller number of
dissident groups and independent practioners.

if you do do some research on the Church then murder seems not
impossible than, uh, a Quaker ninja death squad.

another IMHO why you guys ought to say that you oppose the Church of
Scientology rather than just plain Scientologists. it makes your
position more clear.

um, I have a thing about Psycho Politics too.

you can search for my name and read about my stance on that.

no way do I support the Church of Scientology even when I agree with
their campaign against Ritalin.

yes. and no bad rumors have yet popped up about any of the non-CoS
critics of biopsychiatry like Peter Breggin or Support Coalition.
(other than the one linking them to the Church. but since they share a
similar position on biopsychiatry I can understand.) why just go up
against one advocate... y'know? smear them all.

Sort of like how a victim of rape is "bitter and mean spirited."

seems to me those who have spammed all-faiths with the vitriol against
Scientology and Scinetologists do mean all Scientologists

Except that the cult lies about it, and sues to keep it secret.

I was thinking it was about time for my dead horse stuff.

I used to be into Sadism, Necrophilia and Bestiality, but then I found out I was just beating a dead horse.

even if the Church did not commit murder it has done much else.

religious leaders have ordered the kilings of specific enemies before now.
