Purchased this bike wanting a light fast race bike. Came off a 2008 Santa Cruz Blur LT . Love the Santa Cruz, Hated the hard tail on the first ride. After 5 rides on the Scott , I am blown away at this bike. It is light 24lbs xt build. Climbs unbelievably fast. I gave up just a small amount of speed on the downhill but this bike will win races. Anyway was very sceptical on the 29 er craze but very impressed.
