Just heresay, but...
The design was originally meant for a short travel XC machine, and they've extended the current
design to its logical limits. As such, the rear doesn't match particularly well with the longer
travel forks.
Scott are bringing out a new design for '04 to rectify this, I believe.
Basically put, if you're looking at laying down that sort of cash, there are probably better bikes
out there.
