Sealed a tubular with Stan's Notubes sealant

Just a data point for the edification of others...

Had a small puncture in a butyl-tubed sewup, maybe a 1mm hole
underneath the tread. I injected a few CCs of the Stan's liquid,
rotated the wheel such that the puncture was at the bottom and inflated
to 140psi. The tire now holds air as before.

I got a report from a friend that the Vittoria sealant worked well on
his Vittoria tire. What type of tire did you seal w/ the Stan's?

Good luck with continued sealant success. I'll stick with my own sewup
surgery.

The Work of Stan?

I put Stan's in all of my Conti tubulars as a prophylactic. Seems to
be effective for about 3 months before needing a tad more. Only had
one with a cut too large to seal.
