    I currently have a quick release seat clamp on my bike but it keeps catching my shorts so i want to change it to a bolt clamp, what is the difference between the £20 seat clamps and the £3 1's and is their any diff in the weight and strength/durability

    there will prob be a difference in weight and quallity try find 1 in between

    Bugger all. How much can a seat clamp weigh? A 20 GBP job will probably have a Ti bolt and fancy cnc machining, but do you really need that? Most qr seat clamps can be modified to take a bolt with little effort.

    I would stay with the clamp there much quicker at
    removal,try moving the clamp around to the point
    where your shorts dont get caught there anymore.
    worked for me!
