OK, I'm trying to start a bit of an ad hoc database on seatposts (without wading through catalogues (usually uninformative)and talking to sales staff (ditto, sometimes) that can get all you tall guys with long femurs (you know who you are) in the right possie on 74 deg. seat-tube bikes (I don't want to reignite the KOPS debate, but humour me, please?). Ergo, what's your favourite/most horrific experience with LONG setback seatposts (20mm+ horizontal behind seat-tube centreline), any diameter, any length, any clamp style (beyond pressed steel/swaged tube)?
Thanks in advance. I'll try and think of a suitable recompense for people not motivated by sheer desire to share their experiences for the good of cyclingkind. A week in the Bahamas? A copy of the Suntour programme from 1967? Hmm.
