Hi, has anyone ridden the Seattleto Portland Bike ride? I am riding the ride this summer ith my 18 year old daughter (for Team in Training of the Leukemia & Lymphoma Society). Can anyone tell us about the ride? We live in Michigan and are trining here, but we are wondering about the hills. We have some hills here we are training on, bt are really trying to guess just how hilly it might be. Can anyone give us a hint?
Thanks a lot

I would imagine that they'd have a profile on the rides' website.

Someone has already plotted the route on mapmyride.com

MapMyRide.com | View Seattle - Portland (aka STP Ride) in Seattle, Washington

On the right hand side of the screen, in the little red "info and tools" box, click the "show elevation". Once you've done that you'll likely have to scroll down the screen to see it. You can enlarge the elevation plot by dragging the top right corner upwards.

Looking at it there doesn't appear to be much in the way of steep hills - however, mapmyride can be a little misleading as it averages hills out on long rides... The biggest hills only climb a couple of hundred feet and their average gradient is only approximately 2% - ie, not that steep.

Good luck with the ride!
