Seeking opinions about electric bikes

Most people can ride 4 miles in 15-20 minutes without working up a sweat.
Unless you have a disability, you should consider a regular bicycle from
a real bicycle shop. For $400 you could get a real bike that would last
20 years with few problems. A $250 electric bicycle sounds to me like
trouble waiting to happen.

You should also check your local ordinaces regarding allowed vehicles.
Some places electric bikes/scooters etc are not permitted on the roads.
Regular bicycles are permitted on the roads.
