[font=Arial]I recently began bike commuting again. I ride a full suspension Giant mtn bike. The good news is that I have the ability to include a few miles of trail each way, but the bad news is that during these wet months my clip-on fenders (SKS/PlanetBike) only provide moderate coverage and I still get some mud on my backpack, but more so on my feet and lower legs from the front tire. [font=Arial]So I’m looking for a more road bike type fender I can use during the week and maybe ditch for the weekend. The only thing I’ve come up with so far is buying some then modifying them to fit my bike. Ideally I would like the front fender to mount to the fork arch as opposed to the bottom of the steerer tube, and the rear fender to mount on and move with the swingarm, instead of mounting to the seatpost.
