Dear cyclists and Mountain Bikers,


This year, the Senior Games will be organized in September 2009 in the Dutch province Zeeland, and an estimated 3,000 athletes 50 years and older from all over Europe are expected to join.
Participants will compete during this Multi-sport Event in no less than 21 major sports. This event is the first of its kind in Europe, a unique opportunity for the Netherlands.

Cycle racing and Mountain Bike are one of the main sports in the Senior Games 2009 program. At request of many cyclists and mountainbikers, the program has been changed.

Participation
Open to license holders of all European countries which are a member of the Union Cycliste Internationale (UCI). At the moment of competition you must be in possession of a valid 2009 license, which clearly shows that you at least belong to the Masters 50+ category. These license holders will compete in category A. In addition, non-license holders will be able to participate in a separate category (category B). Day-licenses can be purchased on site.

Conditions
The cycling races and mountain bikes will be run in accordance with the KNWU regulations.
