senor racing categories

Firstly i live in Wiltshire in the UK.

what categories of senior racing are their for a begginner having only
recently started to ride a bike again.
i am 35 and weigh about 12 stone I have just given up smoking after a 20
year stint and would like to get some exercise/racing on the bike.

You are very lucky if you live near Castle Combe Racing Circuit. There
are races for all abilities there, starting from youngsters on up to
Elite.. You would be 4th cat but there are day licences if you want to
simply give it a go. Find out more from British Cycling on www.bcf.uk.com.
You will find contacts there for Tim Knight and Susan Knight who are the
Southern Region organisers. Su runs the ones at Castle Combe.
