My ancient favorite pair: "SportiffGear", tailored, 3" inseam cotton polyester, lycra only in the waist, patch pockets, zippered fly, drawstring and decent absorbent padding....
Other favorites included Pantagonia "Standups" with 3" inseams. Last time I saw them at REI inseams were up to 5" . Long inseams won't do.
How come similar shorts can not be found these days? Any ideas?
I hate lycra.
