  1. Sesame-Nut Squares

In a large bowl beat until thick:
2 egg yolks (set whites aside for beating)

    Blend in:
    2/3 cup honey

    Stir together separately:
    1/4 cup whole wheat flour
    1/4 cup instant dry milk
    1/2 tsp cinnamon
    1/2 tsp nutmeg
    1 cup ground sesame seeds
    2 tsp baking powder
    1/4 tsp salt
    1 cup black walnuts, chopped

Add dry ingredients to honey-yolk mixture. Mix well. Beat the egg whites
stiff and fold in. Turn into oiled, medium-sized baking pan. Bake 30
minutes at 375 F. Served when still warm, these squares are light and
delicate. Cooled, they are a little chewy but just as good.

    Makes 12 squares.
