  1. the training plan calls for "sets" of

3 minutes hard 2 minutes easy 2 minutes hard 1 minute easy 1 minute hard 30 seconds easy

The question is after I finish the 30 seconds easy do I start again with the 3 minutes hard, or do I
    go backwards -

30 seconds easy 1 minute hard 1 minute easy 2 minutes hard 2 minutes easy 3 minutes hard

what are the advantages/disadvantages of one way versus the other?

    thanks

OK, mollie, what sort of 'training plan' is this? 'Cause from where I'm sitting it doesn't so much
as fall between two stools as 'train' you to do nothing useful at all. Other than, of course, to run
3 minutes hard, 2 minutes easy, 2 minutres...

  3. If you're doing sets, go back to the beginning not in reverse. Andy Hass
