Hello,

I bought a Specialized Speed Zone Comp wireless and installed it on my new bike, but can't figure out how to set the tire size to 29 inches. There isn't a pre-programmed setting for 29". What have any of you entered for this?

Thanks!!

Not familiar with this type of cyclometer, but I have to imagine you can manually input the wheel roll-out in inches (mph) or cm (kph). All the cyclometers I've ever used requested this info initially and not wheel diameter as different tires (widths, brands) will have different roll-outs...

Using a roll-out value will get you better precision than a value from a chart, and all you need is a tape measure and a few minutes. Run the tape measure out on the ground. Position the bike with one of the wheels valve down on the zero mark of the tape measure. Get on the bike and scoot forward along the tape measure until the valve is pointing straight down again. Read the value, and enter it into your cyclocomputer.
