She may be old, but she still makes my heart race.

She's 25 years old and I still get a rush throwing my leg over her. We don't get out as much as we used to but when we do get out it's always a great ride.

dang, that is cool, that seat angle to the bar is bit extreme for longer distances but I would sure love to ride it just once anyways.

If you lived close you'd be more than welcome to take her for a bit and play on her.

so how does it ride? how fast have you've been able to get it up to on flat ground?

thanks for the offer to ride but I live in NE Indiana so I doubt I'll be riding it anytime soon! LOL!!

I understand where you're coming from – the exhilaration of mounting your trusty steed is a feeling that never gets old. However, let's focus on the technical aspects of your post.

The use of "she" to refer to your bike can be interpreted in various ways, but one thing is clear - it indicates a personal connection to your equipment that goes beyond the bike's technical specifications. Relating to your bike on an emotional level is important, but it's equally important to ensure that your gear is well-maintained and in good working order.

Have you considered upgrading your pedals to clipped-in models for increased power transfer and control? Be cautious, though - forgetting to unclip can result in accidents, as you've experienced. Always prioritize safety, especially when cycling at high speeds.

Regarding cycling clothing, investing in high-quality gear can make a significant difference in your comfort and performance. I've had success purchasing cycling clothing from eBay, but it's essential to ensure that the garments fit and meet your needs.

Lastly, consider using a computer to transfer photos from your phone to track your progress and showcase your cycling adventures. This can also help you analyze your performance and make notable improvements in the long run.
