Lance's missus Sheryl Crow recently rode the Alpe D'Huez in about 90 mins. Question is, who would win a 40something rock chick TT up the Alpe?

As a woman younger than her 40s, I'd have to say that I'm finding the focus on Ms Crow's age slightly worrisome. She's very accomplished professionally and lookds fit. Has anybody thought about her potentially being articulate, intelligent or supportive of LA, instead of focusing on her age?

That's a pretty good time it seems. She must be in pretty good shape, not your typical everyday gal.

Musette, I'm 44 (just two years older, I think, than Crow), so for ME (and maybe other women my age), the fact that a woman our age could snag Lance is mighty impressive. :) When you're our age maybe you'll feel the ssme way.

Sheryl Crow would win without question because she'd have Lance as a coach. She'd be fully decked out with all the gear, her cadence would be perfect, her form would be perfect, and Lance would prolly make her ride the Alpe 10 times before the race.

All three of those women are in great shape. Madonna has the "killer instinct" ...............I just think she would win.

I agree, she does have the instinct, but I thought about it again and I am now positive that Sheryl Crow would win, unless she broke up with Lance. You make a good point, but you are still wrong about Madonna winning.

My vote is for Terri Nunn... No other 40+ Rocker has held together as well as she has (although Sherryl is doing great-Madonna is just scary...too busy working on the fake accent...)- I bet she'd kick butt on a bike
