Shimano 105 sti 5601 compatability

I just bought some Shimano 105 sti 5601 levers and was wondering if it is compatible with shimano uletgra 6700 crankset. And also I would like to know if I am going to have to buy the rest of the drivetrain as Shimano 105 5601? Or would it be compatible with other Shimano groups aswell.

Your cranks will work with any drivetrain from Shimano, and your shifters will work with any 10 speed Shimano system.
