Shimano 3 speed 333 hub junk?? Non - 333 hub good???

Looked at some of the older postings on the Shimano 3 speed hubs. My interest here is in a NON
coaster brake hub. It appears that if it is a "333" hub , then basically it is very fragile and
prone to failure with use. And anything other than "333" is good quality. Or am I missing
something here?

Have a number of 3 speed Shimano hubs and want to use a "good one" for the next project.

Just wanting to make sure that my take on it is correct.
