Shimano FF System

Okay, So I have been on and off working on restoring an old Schwinn World Tourist. I know most of you are familiar with the type as I have found one other thread on the subject. However, my rear wheel is shot and rather than build a new one (it is 27"😉 I would like to try pulling out the guts and popping them into another old 27" wheel I have laying around. The question I pose to you all is: How in the hell do I remove the cassette from this thing. The only hypothesis I have is that I need a special tool that will fit this strange gear looking piece to loosen it up. I know that doesnt help much. It looks much like a table saw blade with the teeth running in the same direction (that is a better discription). So if any of you understand this any advice would be tremendously helpful.....Thanks.
