  1. Anyone have issues with it not starting up when
    the wheel starts? I have to manually start it
    by touching the "off bike" tiny buttons.

    And why the hell can't they backlight these
    [censored]?

    AFAIK, they started this "feature" to conserve battery power, because people
    complained their batteries needed replacing every few months. Mine is one of
    the original "battery-hogging" ones, and it doesn't bother me.

    Probably battery life again! If you need backlighting, you probably need lights
    to ride by -- rig one up to shine on your computer a little.
