I am ready to get a set of Reynolds Stratus wheels with a shimano hub. i do not want to change the hub because of some complications i have and the fact that i might end up giving them to my brother who has shimano.

what is the lightest and best cassette i can buy that will fit the shimano hub, but it will have the campy cogs? AC makes one, but i think it is too heavy and the aluminum one only lasts 1000 miles.

let me know.

The AC works ok as does the Wheels Manufacturing conversion cassette. Neither are particularly light in the weenie sense but aren't significantly far from standard S or C cassettes.

Another idea is to change the spacers in your Shimano cassette, but that leaves the issue of the spider. If you can seperate the cogs or buy them individually, all the better.

The best "easy" solution I've found is the JTEK Shiftmate.
