Shimano Shifters - 7 Speed

RSX were the only older 7 speed STI, and they work with 105. New sora 7 speed STI are also available. I'd use barend shifters. Alot cheaper and less hassle than STI especailly on a beater.

Shimano 7 speed spacing is 5.0mm and 8 speed it 4.8mm.Close enough that 8 speed shimano shifters usually work,except that pre 9 speed DA also require a pre 9 speed DA RD.
